Soccer is for everyone. And so everyone should get to play, whether this is your first time or you are a select quality player who simply doesn’t wish to travel. You may play at school and want to get sharp for the upcoming season; whomever you are, we would like to invite you to play Recreational soccer with Savannah Celtic F.C. Recreational soccer is not an after-thought for us. It is the foundation of our club. Whatever your age, gender, ability or social demographic we want you to play the beautiful game. Working in partnership with the Recreation Departments of Chatham County, we aim over a period time to help improve the standard of play and coaching throughout the local leagues. Our goal is to increase player and parent participation as much as possible and to do so while lowering the cost to parents and players alike. The club has programs for kids and players from Early Goals program (Pre K); through to the Savannah Celtic Highschool League, which gives players up to 18 years of age somewhere to enjoy playing. We also believe that some of the better players here in Chatham County play Recreational soccer. Whatever the reasons or constraints that have influenced your decision to play Recreational soccer, we do not think that this should hinder your progress or ambitions. Playing at this level can help you achieve all your soccer goals. If you play simply for fun, or wish to attain a college scholarship you can do this while playing Recreational soccer. You will get the access to qualified coaches and our coaching staff will be pro active in helping you attain your future goals. Savannah Celtic teams play in and support the local County Soccer league, the same league as all other local organisations. Celtic ’Rec’ teams will also have the opportunity to play in tournaments local and out of town if they wish. Teams will train twice a week at various locations. We have access to all the city/county run facilities. Our in house Professional Staff Coaches, will always be on hand to help any volunteer coach plan a particular session, answer questions or discuss a specific player. Uniforms will be provided by the club, which will include a jersey, shorts, socks and 2 training t-shirts. All volunteer Recreation coaches will be provided with a coaching kit bag for the season. And if they wish to progress and further educate themselves we will provide the opportunity for them to take state licenses and also attend our regular classes at the in-house Coaches Academy.

Fees for recreational soccer U10 through U14 are $85 registration, which includes entry into the County Playoff Championship and SCFC end of season tournament plus $30 uniform fee.
