Q: When does the season start?
A: That depends largely on the program and commitment. Our most committed groups never really stop. They take small breaks, but play all year long. Recreational teams tend to start in early March for the Spring and early September for the Fall. You can find out more information on the programs by viewing our PROGRAMS PAGE.
OR return to the top of this page.
Q: How much travel is involved?
A: For our Recreational Teams there is little to no traveling involved. At U12 our teams may have to go to Richmond Hill for a home/away series with their teams, 1x or 2x a season, but that is as far as you would go. Our YDP teams travel, but not a lot compared to most. We travel just far enough to get great competition, and it is typically only 1 weekend a month. You can find out more information on the Youth Development Program by viewing our YDP PAGE.

Q: Do we have to tryout?
A: Our Recreational Teams WILL NEVER have tryouts. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come play regardless of skill level. For our YDP teams we do hold tryouts to help best place players on teams that match their skill level. You can find out more information on tryouts by viewing our YDP TRYOUTS PAGE.

Q: What programs do you offer?
A: We offer programs from toddlers up through High School. We also offer programs for individuals with special needs. You can find out more information on the programs by viewing our PROGRAMS PAGE.
OR return to the top of this page.
Q: When do we have to pay?
A: We offer several payment options for your convenience. You can pay online with a credit card, or in person with cash, check, or money order. We also offer payment plans to help spread out the season fees. You can find out more information on registrations by viewing our REGISTRATIONS PAGE.
OR return to the top of this page.
Q: How many nights a week do we practice?
A: The number of practice nights depends on the age and program you commit to. Our teams under the age of 8 practice 1x a week, with an optional 2nd practice available. Our U10+ recreational teams practice 2x a week. Our Youth Development Program players will practice 3x a week. You can find out more information about each program at our PROGRAMS PAGE.
OR return to the top of this page.
Q: Where are practices at?
A: Savannah Celtic FC holds a large majority of practices at The Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex on Sallie Mood & Eisenhower. There are a few exceptions. Occasionally there is enough interest for a U10+ team to form and practice either on Wilmington Island or in Effingham, and we are more than happy to work with those families. We also have a Micro Program solely dedicated to those who live on Wilmington Island. They can practice and play games without crossing the bridge into Savannah. You can find out more information about our fields on the LOCATIONS PAGE.

Q: Can we play with a school friend?
A: Absolutely!! We do our best to pair up as many requests as we can. As long as your schedules work together, we have no problem pairing up friends. The only possible hitch in the plan is birth date. The cutoff date is August 1 for every age group. Take a second to look over the Georgia Soccer Age Group Chart for the 2011/2012 soccer season.

Q: Do you offer financial assistance?
A: YES WE DO!! We will never let money stand in the way of a child enjoying the ‘beautiful game’. Please CONTACT US so that we can discuss the possibilities.
OR return to the top of this page.
Q: What are the details for the Payment Plan?
A: The payment plan allows you to break the season payment into a few smaller chunks. For YDP, we offer 4 payment periods. For our recreational program, you can pay in as many as 5 smaller segments. Once you get into the registration process, you will find it very easy to set up. If you have any problems setting up the payment plan, CONTACT US
OR return to the top of this page.
Q: Where do I go to register?
A: The easiest option is registering online. If you go to this link, you will be able to find our online registrations. You can also register by mail. You can find our mailing address on the CONTACT US PAGE. Finally, you can register in person. First, you should print the forms from the REGISTRATION PAGE, and then bring them into our office.
OR return to the top of this page.
Q: When is registration closed?
A: Registration closes once the season is close to starting. For our YDP players, registration is done very early in the season. Our Recreational players get a little more time, and registration for the Spring season is closed in early/mid March. Our fall season closes in mid September. Act quickly and go to our REGISTRATION PAGE.
