The Savannah Celtic F.C. YDP Program has a straight forward player
recruitment and guest playing policy designed so that all members are treated
in the utmost professional manner should an outside party approach your child
about participating in non-SCFC organized soccer. We believe as a Savannah
Celtic F.C. player your number 1 responsibility is to support and focus on
our programs and schedules over any other.

PLAYER RECRUITMENT

This is a situation, which arises when another coach, team, club,
organization or player/parent, not associated with Savannah Celtic F.C.
directly approaches a fully registered Savannah Celtic F.C. player about
transferring to the team, club, organization they are associated with.
Through US Club Soccer, which players in the YDP Program are registered
under, there are no recruiting violations therefore we work within our own
club policy. The policy is as follows. If an approach such as this is made
please contact your child’s current head coach as well as the YDP Program
Director. Should you wish to pursue a transfer no refunds will be provided
regarding the YDP program fees for which the player is currently registered.

GUEST PLAYING

If you and/or your child is approached about guest playing for a
non-SCFC team / club / organization, you must contact your child’s current
head coach as well as the YDP Program Director. We may approve or deny this
request for a number of different reasons. The coach of the non-SCFC team
wishing to have your child guest play must also contact your child’s current
head coach as well as the YDP Program Director. Should you wish to guest play
for a non-SCFC team / club / organization you must complete a ‘Non-SCFC Team
Guest Player Application’, which must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to
