ABOUT

Micro players (U4, U5, U6, U7, U8) make up the largest number of participants in US soccer. Because this is entry level for a lot of children, Savannah Celtic views this program as the grassroots of the club. To ensure players develop a love for the ’beautiful game’, we make sure it is run in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Practices are geared towards individual skill and coordination development.

Micro Program teams can train at any of the facilities available to us around the City including but not limited to The Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex, Ambuc, Daffin Park and Bee Road. Games are played at The Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex on Sallie Mood and Eisenhower on Saturday mornings and afternoons (we alternate mornings and afternoons from 1 week to the next).

COST

The program fee for the Micro Program is $75 for nearly 3 months of soccer action. This includes a practice shirt as well as a gameday shirt.

Older players (U8) will also participate in our end of the season tournament for an additional $10. The tournament is a fun day full of soccer. The players will play at least 3 games and all the action is limited to Saturday, nothing on Sunday. And everything is still here in town.

SCHEDULE

The Micro Program schedule is very simple. The players will practice 1x a week, and times vary from team to team and coach to coach. During Registration we give you the option of letting us know what works for you, and then we do our best to accommodate those requests (teammate preference, coach preference, practice day preference). That way you don’t have to move your entire schedule around based on what we tell you. Games will be on Saturday’s. Once you register you will get a bit more information about the schedule and how it all works.
