Soccer is for everyone and so everyone should get to play whether this is your first time or you are a select quality player who simply doesn’t wish to travel. You might play for your school and want to get sharp for the upcoming season; whomever you are, we would like to invite you to play recreational soccer with Savannah Celtic F.C. Recreational soccer is not an after-thought for us. It is the foundation of our club. Whatever your age, gender, ability or social demographic we want you to play the beautiful game with us!

We are the biggest and most high rated program in Savannah / Chatham County because of the effort and attention we give to every player at every age level.

Savannah Celtic rec teams play in and support the local Chatham County Soccer League, the same league as all other local organisations including the likes of West Chatham, Richmond Hill, Hinesville, JCB, Effingham etc. Each team plays approximately 6/7 games during the regular season and are then seeded into a playoffs to decide the County Champions. Girls and Boys teams play separately. Teams generally practice twice a week and training sessions last 1 & 1/2 hours.

COST

The registration fee for U10 through U14 recreational soccer is $125.

The breakdown is as follows:

$80 registration, $25 full uniform package & $20 tournament fee. The tournament fee goes towards Savannah Celtic F.C.’s Regionally recognized tournaments, Shamrock Cup (spring) and Celtic Pride (fall). Normally those tournaments costs approximately at least $40 per player.

SCHEDULE

Savannah Celtic likes to keep the schedule as simple as possible. The players will practice 2x a week, and times vary from team to team and coach to coach. During Registration we give you the option of letting us know what works for you, and then we do our best to accommodate those requests (teammate preference, coach preference, practice day preference). That way you don’t have to move your entire schedule around based on what we tell you. Games will be typically be on Saturday’s, the teams play in the Chatham County League, so the County sets that schedule. Once you register you will get a bit more information about the schedule and how it all works.
