ABOUT

The Youth Development Program or ’YDP’ program caters towards the clubs most competitive, passionate and committed players. It is ’select’ soccer. Players are selected through a tryout process at the beginning of the season. YDP offers a high standard of coaching delivered by our experienced staff, who provide the players with a rounded soccer education. We not only coach the players, but immerse them in soccer culture.

YDP players train in Savannah and will be coached by the club’s top licensed staff coaches. The training and coaching staff will be overseen by the YDP Director. A variety of training methods will be incorporated into every team’s curriculum to ensure a well rounded learning experience.

Detailed evaluations will be provided for every YDP player at the end of the season to monitor development.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Year round training

2 mandatory practices per week during season with several additional optional sessions available

Use of classic and modern academy coaching methods to provide players with a well rounded experience

A high standard of coaching that matches or exceeds any youth soccer program available in the Savannah area

Each team will be assigned with a certified and experienced staff coach

Consistency in coaching staff and practice schedule

The most affordable academy/select program available to you in the Savannah area

Minimal travel for younger age groups

Strong communication between club, staff and parents / players

Participation in at least 2 tournaments per season (Spring and Fall)

COST

U8 – JR YDP

Registration / Coaching Fee: $150 (per season)

Uniform Package: Estimated $75 (lasts several season)

Tournament Fees: JR YDP will only play in the Savannah Celtic Tournament(s) hosted locally. No travel. The tournament fees will be paid separately.

U9 to U12

Registration / Coaching Fee: $200 (per season)

Uniform Package: Estimated $125 (lasts several season)

Tournament Fees: To be paid separately. Each tournament will cost approx $40/$50 per player. Number of tournaments attended will be discussed at the beginning of the season with the head coach.

U13 to U19 YDP-S (Select)

Registration / Coaching Fee: $250 (per season)

Uniform Package: Estimated $125 (lasts several season)

Tournament Fees: To be paid separately. Each tournament will cost approx $40/$50 per player. Number of tournaments attended will be discussed at the beginning of the season with the head coach.

REGISTRATION
