The Celtic in the Community program is one of the ways Savannah Celtic FC wishes to give back to all its friends and neighbors. We want to promote the 'beautiful game' to everyone and in turn, help kids of all ages, abilities, genders and economic backgrounds reap the benefits that come with participation in team sports.

Soccer is the game played the world over, from New York to Nairobi, from London to Laos, from Rio to Reykjavik. There is a reason why it is the world's most popular sport.

We want to give every child the opportunity to join in. Like so many other things, if we don't enjoy our first experience then we can be turned away from it for life. When introduced to the game by our professional coaches, we can all but guarantee that the kids will want to play again. We will bring our professional coaches to your public school, hold free after school clinics and introduce the game of soccer into your community. We are happy to do this Spring and Fall, for as long as you wish us to. If you need it, we will help you with your school soccer program. Though we are unable to coach individual teams we can provide on going technical assistance to your own coaching staff. If through the clinics players emerge who wish to pursue the game outside of school, but may need the financial assistance to do so; we may be in a position to help subsidize their endeavor.

Celtic In The Community has positively impacted the following schools:

Thunderbolt Elementary, Pooler Elementary, Garden City Elementary, Bartow Elementary, May Howard Elementary, Georgetown Elementary, Islands Elementary and Charles Ellis Elementary.

If your school wishes to participate please contact SCFC Director of Coaching, Keith Gunn at Keith@savannahceltic.com or 912.495.9996
